Gonzalez Language Solutions, LLC respects the privacy and confidentiality of every client. All information obtained before, during, or after an interpretation session or translation project — including the content of communications, documents, and business details — is treated as strictly confidential, whether or not a written agreement is in place, and that obligation continues after our work together ends.

How your information is protected. We sign appropriate confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements on request, and we comply with our clients' own vendor privacy and confidentiality requirements. Client documents are accessed only by the owner-operator, are never shared with third parties, and are handled using secure transfer and storage arrangements appropriate to the material. For sensitive documents, we establish a secure transfer process with the client before work begins rather than relying on ordinary email attachments.

Protected health information. Where an assignment involves handling protected health information on behalf of a covered entity (such as a medical or dental practice), we determine whether a business associate agreement and additional HIPAA safeguards are required, and complete them before accepting the assignment.

Data retention. We retain only the business records needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes — such as invoices and job confirmations. Project content and client documents are returned, deleted, or destroyed according to the client's written preference at project completion.

Professional boundaries. We interpret and translate accurately what the parties communicate. We do not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and we represent our qualifications honestly — never claiming credentials we do not hold.
